Our Acceptable Use Policy

This website (The Home of Can-Do ) and the Can-Do Bootcamp, private members Facebook group are maintained by The Home of Can-Do® . Operating under Joanne Jones Online Ltd company registered in England and Wales (registration number:  13169735), and operating throughout the United Kingdom.

This policy sets out the terms in which you may access our website and Facebook group and applies to all users without exception. “We” (Joanne Jones Online Ltd) want you to please be aware of the following terms when using our group and we ask that you use it respectfully and safely.  You must acknowledge and agree to abide by the following terms. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms we respectfully insist that you remove yourself from our website and our Facebook group immediately.

As so much specialist and at times sensitive information and resources are shared through The Home of Can-Do® and our community we felt it vital that some ground rules are laid for how the information is used.

Each and every member in the The Home of Can-Do has a right to receive non-judgemental advice, to have a safe space to seek support and most importantly a right to privacy.

Therefore you agree:

✅ Not to share your contact details or other personal information on the group wall.
✅ Not copy, share, screenshot, recreate, reproduce, or resell *ANY* posts, comments, images, videos, resources or documents posted by *ANY* of our members and which are part of our website or this Facebook group.

To be extremely clear:

*ALL* The Home of Can-Do® written and video content, posts, comments, images, graphics, resources, Webinars, masterclasses, workbooks, handouts, documents, member lists, and our whole ‘IP’ are copyright protected under UK Intellectual property, Copyright law, and GDPR, Data Protection legislation. It is *ILLEGAL* and immoral to copy, recreate, plagiarise, resell, or share *ANYTHING* made accessible to you for your own commercial use, or with *ANY* third party for any reason. Please bear in mind when posting that whilst every effort will be made to enforce this policy we cannot guarantee that information will not be shared so please be mindful when posting. If it comes to your attention that there has been a breach of these terms please report it to a member of our admin team straight away. It is completely unethical and an invasion of someone’s privacy. This is a safe space so shame on anyone who lowers themselves to this level and blatantly breaches our terms (never mind the ramifications of passing on info to schools who will then be in breach of GDPR, Privacy laws themselves for gathering and storing unauthorised data on individuals without their permission. These schools will be reported to the ICO so consider yourselves warned!). If you are found to be doing any of the above your membership will be terminated, you will be removed from the website, and our Facebook group, *BLOCKED* permanently and appropriate action will be taken against you. If this is your intention, then leave immediately.

You agree to be respectful of our space and courteous by not:

✅Handing your login to this site or group to any third party to use at any point.
✅ Posting on the wall, commenting to promote yourself, your events, blog, resources, social media channels, website and services of any kind.
✅ Sending unsolicited messages, offering unauthorised services of any kind, transmitting, or procuring the sending of unauthorised advertising, promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam) to any of our members. This includes posting ‘research questions’ which are just really thinly-veiled self-promotions.
✅ Posting links to other businesses/ organisations / FB groups or pages in our group. These posts will be deleted. The Home of Can-Do® worked hard to build our amazing community and every day we work hard to support our community members with our own range of outstanding products, with our knowledge, advice and support services. Our community group is, therefore, not a space to promote yourself or other businesses, pages, groups and organisations. We ask that you please respectfully refrain from doing so.
✅ Blocking any of our admin or moderation team (you will be blocked and removed yourself without warning).
✅ Being negative, judgemental or entering into unnecessary arguments on the group wall (or via pm). We operate a zero tolerance policy to any negative or judgmental comments directed towards any group member, including of our admin, support team and guest experts. Negativity, abuse or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and offenders will be removed without warning. If you have nothing kind or genuinely useful to add, scroll by and say nothing. If you do comment please be mindful of your ‘tone’. Please remember that our members are all real people, going through extremely difficult times and your words can cause genuine harm. If you feel that anyone is being aggressive, unnecessary, hurtful or unkind, please report it to a member of our admin team straight away.
